How To Register:
To register for the parade, please fill out the registration form (for organizations) and return it to the address listed no later than October 13, 2007. As in the past, there is no charge to participate. However, if you know a veteran-friendly business that may be willing to make a donation to help offset the costs of the parade, please let us know.
We could use their help!

Individual Veteran Participation:
Individual veterans (anyone who isn't part of an organized veterans' group) that want to be part of the parade need to contact us either by e-mail or a phone call and we will send them a tri-fold brochure that gives all the details of where to go the morning of the parade to be loaded into National Guard vehicles.

Veterans Groups & Scouting Groups:
We are again going to match scout groups with veterans groups. Our goal in doing this is to educate the scouts on our city’s many diverse veterans’ organization. These scout groups will march behind their assigned veterans’ organization unless the organization chooses to have them assist in another capacity (i.e., carry a banner for the group). If your organization does NOT want to have a scout group assigned, please write this information on your entry form. (NOTE: Not all veterans’ organizations will have a group of scouts assigned. We are limiting the number of scouts participating to 5 Boy Scout troops and 5 Girl Scout troops).

Please read the following guidelines carefully:
• All veterans’ organizations and organizations which exist for the purpose of honoring veterans who return an entry form by the deadline will be included in the parade
o Veterans organizations that wish to drive non-military vehicles in the parade are limited to no more than 12 vehicles or 25 motorcycles per organization
• All schools proposing an entry which expressly honors veterans and returns an entry form will be included
• All entries which include one or more non military vehicles carrying an individual veteran will be included at the discretion of the Board.
o If you are proposing such an entry, please explain why the veteran should be honored with his/her own entry.
• Entries that are strictly commercial in nature are not permitted in the Parade
• IMPORTANT: All entries must include a sign or banner. People watching the Parade will want to know who you are and why you’re in the Parade!
